The ride in question operates at Seven Flags Syria and was a collaboration between us and Aether Systems, where we provided the track, structure and design while they provided the trains and associated control systems. We are unaware of what system has failed at this time.

We are now aware that this has been a fatal indecent. According to witnesses, there has been an issue with the trains provided by Aether Systems, however there is no official word as of yet. Despite this incident likely not being our fault, we will keep this page updated.

Syrian authorities have notified us that there has been a major issue with the trains which has resulted in 12 deaths. We will release a press statement when we have all the facts together. Our thoughts and condolences are with those who were involved.

We are now aware of the circumstances by which last week's catastrophic events took place. The Aether Systems vehicles used on the ride suffered a catastrophic fault where the on-board computer signalled for all hydraulic cylinders on the train to be purged, therefore releasing all of the restraints. This resulted in all 12 people on board being flung from the seats during a negative-G moment. We must stress that these trains and their on-board systems are in no way affiliated with us, we simply chose them to run on our ride as, until that point, they had a seamless safety record. Rest assured that we are in communication with the park in order to retrofit new trains onto the ride.

It must be noted that, despite accusations, we exceeded no g-force limits provided to us by Aether Systems. We were informed that the limit is -1.4g and we hit -1.2g, we did not impliment any orbital airtime™ into this layout.
